How to Optimize 6S Shaking Table Recovery? Strategic Mineral Flowchart Design for Gold, Tin, and Copper

In previous discussions, we explored common causes for the decline in 6S Shaking Table recovery rates, such as mismatched deck grooves, improper stroke adjustment, and poor ore pre-treatment. Today, we will focus on another critical factor: How an unreasonable mineral processing flowchart impacts recovery, and how to optimize it.

As mentioned in our previous videos, the 6S Shaking Table is not a “one-size-fits-all” solution. Its application must be flexibly adjusted based on ore properties, target grade, particle size, and feeding capacity. It can function independently for roughing, cleaning, or scavenging, or be integrated with other equipment to form a synergistic system.

Tailored Flowcharts for Different Minerals

A successful processing line must follow the principle of targeted design:

  • Alluvial Gold & Salt Gold: Typically requires a combination of a Sawtooth Wave Jig Machine or centrifugal concentrator to compensate for the limitations of a single device.
  • Fine-Grained Gold: For ultra-fine gold recovery, adding sluice boxes or gold carpets for scavenging can minimize the loss of “escaping” minerals.
  • Tungsten & Tin Ore: In many scenarios, combining a Spiral Chute with gold blankets significantly improves separation precision for both raw ore and tailings.
  • Copper, Lead & Zinc: For these base metals, using a 6S Shaking Table for gravity pre-treatment before entering the High Efficiency Ball Mill and flotation stage ensures maximum recovery.

The Core Principle: “Recover as Early as Possible”

Many wonder why gravity separation is added before flotation. This embodies the core industry principle: “Recover early what can be recovered.” Any mineral that can be effectively captured in the early stages should not be left for subsequent processing.

By integrating a Heavy-Duty Rock Crusher for proper liberation followed by early gravity recovery, you can prevent “tailing loss” and maximize resource utilization.
